Screens

You thought you knew what was going on, but do you?  There is something horrible lurking just outside your perception, and if you press to learn more, you will likely end up murdered...or worse.
A manuscript, a secret Luddite society sworn to protect it, all of them disconnected from the digital age.  These are all the clues you have, but as you learn more, you'll wish you hadn't.
Turn back while you still can.
THEY are watching you...

Uncle Willingston

A former employee just won't stop coming back to the office to beg for his old job back, and Human Resources manager David Tanner is at his wit's end as to what to do.  Especially since this former employee is certifiably insane, rambling about nonsense like time travel, the end of days and one mad scientist Uncle Willingston who is undoing the fabric of the universe.  Worse still, David Tanner isn't sure that the crazy former employee isn't on to something, after all.  What's a Human Resources manager to do?

The Black Chili

Li Fai, owner of the Golden Phoenix restaurant, has just discovered that his lifelong competitor and jerk of a nemesis, Chen, has started using magick to enhance the dishes at his restaurant, reaping massive profits in the process.
Fai can't stand for it.  He'll be damned if he's going to let that sneaky, no-talent Chen beat him.  Fai has a plan of his own.  Chen wants to play with magic, eh?  Two can play that game.   It might cost Fai a small fortune, or maybe even his soul, to beat Chen at his own game, but that's a small price to pay for a restaurant packed with customers.

The Trove

A thousand-year-old map puts into motion a quest to recover a treasure beyond reckoning.  Fifty-five men set out from the city of Karswal to lay claim to the spoils.  They seek the wealth and power such a trove will afford them, and to be forever written into the history of the treasure and the craven overlord who had it buried in the earth.
Cyrol, the lone survivor of those men and their doomed quest, finds himself alone and near death at the cavern entrance leading down to the treasure.   Likely, he will die before could lay his hands on a single coin of it, as legend speaks of a horrific monster lying in wait for any who would dare approach.  And yet Cyrol cannot turn away.  He is driven by a fervent desperation to reach out for The Trove, and no reasons, even his own damnation, will not dissuade him.
